after a weekend of feasts, i feel that i am blown up like a pig already...
my mom sent these photos to me weeks (or even months) ago, but life has been so hectic that i didn't get to share them with you in time. sorry.
some of the outputs are quite creative. it makes me feel like getting some hakka-pattern swatches to make something fun with them. but i guess i'll have to wait till a next trip to taiwan. it's probably out of the question to get hakka-pattern cloth even in socal.
btw, did anyone recognize the building in the first pic? It's modelled after 聖蹟亭 in龍潭, a very special place to me. i even did a paper in high school about its history and architecture. below are some cool sites about the place i just found online. enjoy!

Hello Jannet.
Happy New Golden Boar Year!
The Tahitian-Hakka goes:
"Be'be', ghiaghia yim l'eau, ah po dai gni hi l'e'cole."
Baby, hurry with your water. Granny's gonna take you to school."
孫仔,快快喝水。阿婆要帶你去學校。
merci!
Je vous en prit, Jannet.
