這趟短期度假，可是讓映禎期待非常之久呢!
原因無他，就是小女孩對"熊熊"(尤其是大熊熊)總是無法招架ㄚ~
總是在我耳邊叨念著.....媽媽，還有?天就可以去"緩慢"抱大熊熊囉!

這一路上小阿蟲都搶著幫我們一大家子"埋單"，真是感謝!!(紅豆逆~啊哩啊豆)
第一天中餐付款就差點出現有人"喊救命"的情況，
因為小阿蟲抓人力道可不小喔!! >"<

邦華二哥在"立馨"要點餐時，說了一句話:怎麼從出門就一直吃啊?
從到我家吃早餐/喝紅茶，到東山休息站吃蛋糕/喝咖啡，領到小阿Z準備的愛心水果後，來到"立馨"又要吃啦??
哈~ 哈~ 哈~ 出門不就是這樣子的嗎? 吃吃吃吃吃吃吃吃......^^
可惜ㄋㄟ第二天小阿Z一家3口早早就趕ㄊㄨㄤ回台南，不然就可以再去吃"桶仔雞"喔!!..^^..


有錢有閒真是好呀!! 很多人就是為達到這的目標而努力著-------
我要能養家活口就好，接著又想要多存點錢，以備不時之需；有了點小錢，又想該多賺些留給後輩，
於是乎所有的精力都想著我該如何賺錢，賺錢，賺大錢，，，，
講到"錢"這個字真是俗氣!>"< 雖然錢非萬能，沒錢又萬萬不能，
真是令人又愛又恨呀!!!!!
很多前輩往往為了纂更多的錢財而賠上自己的健康，
賺來的卻變成了自己的醫藥費，根本也沒閒享福呀!!
所以，究竟有錢/有閒的標準是在哪呢?
我並不清楚，有人說"夠用就好"，而"夠用"的底線又是多少呢?
現今經濟景氣如此不佳，或許有份工作來養家活口就該偷笑了吧？！
有工作做的各位請加油!! 閒閒在家的更要努力生活(難得被迫"有閒"---意指在下敝人我啦)!!
最重要的還是老話一句：健康勝過一切！

元宵節愉快!!

PS 今年的燈會展還不錯喔! 可以避開人潮去瞧瞧!! 雖然，今晚最是精彩，可我就是怕人多氣氛給可砸了。

Vegas, Baby!

I've never really been big on Vegas. I don't gamble, and I've never really gone with a large enough group of people to split a nice hotel room. Still, when Drizzle visited, she said she wanted to go to Vegas because people were always telling her how great it is. So we went, and we looked around a bit. We didn't stay long, since neither of us gamble, but we did get some good pictures. She got a lot more, of course, but here are some of my own offerings.

The Bellagio went all out to celebrate the Chinese New Year, including erecting a Chinese garden scene, complete with Fortune God, in the Botanical Garden.

Bally's and Paris look beautiful from the Bellagio Fountains.

The water show runs once every quarter hour during prime time at the Bellagio Fountains, and is a must-see in Vegas.

The night before Superbowl Sunday, Luxor (and all casinos, really) was quiet late at night as everyone rested up for the next day, which was expected to be a busy gambling day.

Drizzle and I stayed at Excalibur.


New York - New York on a gray Superbowl Sunday.

The Forum Shops is always a shopper's paradise.

The French Toast Napoleon at the Cheesecake Factory kept me full for the entire drive back to California, and then some!


Driving back to California meant driving into the clouds as a storm system loomed.

Nothing happened in Vegas that needed to stay in Vegas, but I managed to have fun anyway. Maybe next time, maybe next time!

Getty Villa

Toward the end of the Year of the Boar, I entertained a guest. Over the weekend, we managed to see many things, all of which she took pictures of. Because some of those sights are fairly commonplace for me, and because I was the driver, I took fewer pictures.

Of the places we saw, one of my all-time favorites is the Getty Villa.
